After coffee and consultation (and giggles) with some artist friends, I hightailed it to Jo Ann's to acquire some new threads for Cathie's piece. I am going to try stitching complementary colors -- blues on the oranges, oranges on the blues -- and some other (not so) wild and crazy approaches to the stitchwitchery.
