finding focus
The hand and machine stitching on my homelessness piece is finished. It was delightful to stitch with irregular abandon and try out soy thread and other enchanting varieties of filament.
Along the way, I got the hang of rudimentary mending -- that which might have been done hastily and under adverse conditions. Being in a state of heightened focus is quite superb, and this act of hand stitching readily presents this opportunity.
Next up is attaching the dyed jeans strips, followed by finishing the edges with a facing. The sheer/transparent print of the hand image will be added last. My goal is to finish by Tuesday, and I think that is well realizable.
