Which is the more compelling image? (Ah, that assumes you find at least one of these 'compelling.')
Sometimes this rose looks elegant, lyrical to me -- and sometimes grotesque, twisted and barbed.
I took a series of photos of my roses in the morning dew - tomorrow, bloom; the following day, waning.
