The mystery photos from the past two days are of a 90 foot steel cone that houses a glass blowing studio in Tacoma's Museum of Glass. Visitors can sit in an amphitheater and watch the artists work with molten glass. The "hot shop" enterprise is streamed live on the web.
This weekend I will be experimenting with different art glass medium, kilncasting (glass fusing) and I hope I will have some pieces to post. I intend to incorporate these new glassworks into a new textile piece I am working on (at present, the piece's principal place of residence is in my head.)
