Chihuly's work is stunning, isn't it? I saw a great exhibition of his work a few years ago, only without any outdoor installations. What was indoors was incredible enough! The exhibition was at the Dayton Art Institute in Ohio. We drove past the DAI at night on the big interstate across the river, and there was a huge stacked work (some 30 feet high!) of orange swirls that was visible from the highway. Wow! It was slowing down traffic on the interstate. Way cool.
