...another 'out-my-window' view...and if I were more savvy with the features on my cameras (note to self: read the manuals) I could, no doubt, produce some stop-action pix of these little creatures' wings. They are frolicking in the garden in astonishing numbers and even more astonishing iridescent color combinations.

From the colors in the last picture (the green back and rufous-colored feathers near the tail) this appears to be an Allen's Hummingbird - very cool!
