For Cathie's piece (woodcut Utah image printed on broadcloth), I need custom made canvas-wrapped stretcher bars. I have my canvas cloth in hand and am out the door to Aaron Brothers for that -- I can now back my piece with batting (wadding to you Brits) and start the hand stitching. Progress!
Meanwhile, I decided I wanted more texture in the Willow Tree piece, so I now have a black gabardine wool blend for that and have kinda decided on the layout and colors. Photos manana.
Meanwhile again, here is Sanjagirl exploring our newly denuded back slope! She just turned one and a half, and is still all puppy (visitors beware...she is a licking machine).
