I see pod people and other sundry items

A Sunday stroll in our garden finds the pygmy palm trees laden with bountiful pods.

The palms line the top of our pond's waterfall. Take a look-see at what's on the precipice, as waterfall meets pond:

We call this soapstone sculpture "The Thinker." We purchased him when we traveled to South Africa in late 1999 to visit our son, who was attending the University of Cape Town on a semester abroad program.

If you look closely, you can see some goldfish cavorting under the waterfall!

The quilt pictured in my July 30 post was made from fabrics our son collected for me while in South Africa, as well as others I purchased there from a treasure-laden fabric store in Cape Town.
