serendipity

...a Peruvian tapestry hanging on a crab restaurant wall somewhere on a Baltimore highway! Wowie zowie!  We were en route to a Peace Corps Afghanistan reunion for my husband's 1970-1092 group.

Nice treat, eh? More to follow...

Cool colors in that tapestry!

I didn't know the Peace Corps went back as far as 1092...

I have a good friend who is attending a Peace Corps Afghanistan reunion this weekend as well--and she was there in the early to mid 1960's. The PC was JFK's idea, so it goes back that far. Pamela, was your reunion in VT? What a funny coincidence if there were two on the very same weekend for the same place.

Okay, so I can't type...1972!!! The Peace Corps reunion was in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Amazing coincidence that the two Afghanistan events were on the same weekend!

That looks like the wall at Salsa Grill but that's not a crab place and isn't on what I would call a highway.
