a reeeally reeally good show (to quote Ed Sullivan!)

Yesterday I helped curate the Extreme Quilters exhibit, which opens this Friday evening at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery. We are a group of art quilters with a wide range of experience, from an award-winning-international star to those who are new to the art form.

The show will knock your socks off, and anything else that is not buttoned or zipped.

Here are the details about the opening and the exhibit:

     Where: Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park (corner of Michael and Borchard Roads)

                Directions: Take the Borchard Road exit from Highway 101 (if coming from the south, go left; if   coming from the north, go right). The gallery is next to the Newbury Park Public Library, at the corner of Michael and Borchard Roads, within a mile from the freeway.

     When: Opening night reception is from 7 to 9, Friday, October 8.

The show continues through October 30, Wednesday-Sunday, 1-5.
