I have been revisiting some old friends as I ponder putting together my solo show in September, a very delightful enterprise. These are experiments with three different chemicals used to discharge color out of fabric: formusol, thiox, and bleach. I carved the design in insulation board with a hot tip.
All these activities require wearing a respirator, in case you are tempted to venture into this fascinating endeavor!
