I am working on a series, "what remains," that starts with images from pieces of some pine trees that had to be cut down at a local park.
There is beauty there, in what was, and what remains.
I hope to extend this series in some un-contemplated manner at some point -- other remains, detritus.
This is a photo of the intermediate stage of a glass process. I placed the "remains" on our scanning bed, played digitally. The piece should come out of the kiln Wednesday.
