printmaking possibilities...with pinecones

Printmaking on glass offers oodles of opportunities. In the piece above, I took advantage of the chemical reaction between a the base reactive glass and a copper based glass powder -- the result is a sepia tone.

In the next example, I fired black powder on a white base, and capped it with Bullseye's opaline, which produces an ethereal/foggy/moody layer through which the base layer can be seen.



I don't have a preference -- each evokes a different mood. I love the little pine cone sitting in the corner, resting, contemplating, just being quiet.
