It's taking time to formulate the second face element of my new piece. It's an interesting process to witness from both inside and out. As that inner dialogue takes place, I thought of another feature I might want to include -- along with the glass face, a trapunto or quilted image of the same visage, done on silk.
To that end, I used Photoshop to put a subtle aqua wash on my picture of the bas relief fiber paper image, and printed that on silk. I will play around with quilting her. You can see both images and the nice color harmony (methinks) below:
