...a little detour here to make a small piece with the theme "water" -- this is an image of a large turtle who showed up in our pond one day and stayed a year. Here he is on a ramp we set up for him so he could exit and enter the pond at will. We named him Jack. I love the reflection of his head in the water.
He was a swell turtle.
I printed this image on cotton and now will add perle cotton hand stitching and maybe some holey organdy (holes = bubbles, water, pond).
