frasier's flight path?

I belong to a fiber artists' group in Santa Barbara, Fibervision, and our next show starts Tuesday. The opening reception is on Wednesday the 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 and you can't ask for a better locale -- right on the beach at the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center.

I am hoping to get Frasier the Phoenix Crane all cleaned up and married to his textile partner by the time of Monday's jurying. To that end, yesterday I bought some diamond-encrusted drill bits so I can perfect his feathers just-so. Today I will make his textile ... nest.
