fractured

On the right, a second print of the image on polyester chiffon has been permanently wrinkled with a heat press and secured on top.  My goal was to intensify the feeling of aging and fractured-ness that I hope the photograph imparts.

I won't be posting any photos of the entire image until the exhibit has been juried.  Whatever the outcome, creating this piece and getting to know Thomas have been a singularly enlightening and poignant experience, albeit a sorrowful one. It has stretched me artistically and moved me as a fellow soul.

These are all great images that you have been sharing with us. I can't wait to see the entire piece. Good luck to you in the jurying process.

Neat. I think you accomplished your goal of adding an aging effect!
