sunday with sannygirl

After we took out a dying pine tree this year, we shored up the slope with stonework that took on its own life. The new plants are growing like sixty, thank goodness, and Sannygirl loves cavorting up and down the paths in a lively yet (thankfully) futile pursuit of the burgeoning lizard population.

What a beautiful garden! Love the way it cascades down and the stone work! Extraordinary!

That is gorgeous! Did you do the design yourself or get help?

We chose the stone and told the stone people we needed to prevent erosion, and wanted a walkway linking five fruit trees. They designed the stone. I designed the landscape. My fave part is the pots on top of the tree stumps! Thanks for your compliment!
