spotting

A red calla lily with blue leaves -- the result of pre-fused-glass-making foray into stained glass -- hangs in our garden. This morning, our birdbath was frozen, a rare sight in our central/southern California coastline.

I grew up in So Cal and I remember when the dog's dish got a film of ice on the top we talked about it for days! Nice photo.
