from glass to textile, panel one complete!


The first triptych panel is complete, and here is a hurried photo of it. The entire triptych will be professionally photographed tomorrow -- I can't really capture the stitching with any accuracy with my own set up. I am entering it in a show, and quality photographs are a must.

Here are some photos of the vase that is the genesis of this work -- I photographed it many times and created compositions from those photos.  More to come!

Thank you, Tina, and Arlee, I hope you are still breathing! Great news! I just finished the facing and putting together of the final panel. I am so thrilled, I can't even breathe myself. Let's hope the photographer can get the stitches in focus!!! Thanks for your kind support.

Oh, my, thank you Sherrie. I am entering it in a show, so I don't want to show the whole work yet, even though that is allowed by the show's rules. I will post more peeks, though. Thanks for encouraging me!
