Okay, here is where I wanted to turn away, but had to keep on recording! Eric Anderson now uses gravity and a tool (I wish I knew the name of it!) to extend the eventual top lip of the piece. Eric then directs his assistant Myles Freedman to again blow into the blowpipe, expanding the glass more.
As you may have discerned by now, this is a highly orchestrated dance. It is absolutely mesmerizing to witness. Look at Eric's left hand as he moves the blowpipe back and forth. The light touch reminds me of the movement of a virtuoso pianist. Too cool.
At the end of this segment, another assistant moves into place for the next step.
