A grand surprise Saturday night! I had entered the two vases pictured above in the annual member show of Studio Channel Islands Art Gallery, a local art association. They won first place in 3D!
And the most wonderful prize is that the winners of the 2D and 3D categories get to have what SCIART calls a "co-solo" show in 2014! I hope to be able to exhibit some of my glass-and-fiber pieces as well (more on that in another post). It's Monday, and I think I have just come down from the clouds.
