This is the beginning of my foray into creating a dialogue between my art glass vases and my textile work!
I have shared these elements individually before: a textile design derived from photos of a vase I made last year, heavily stitched, and three fused glass pieces that explore how to create texture-depth in glass. This work is part of the "Art From Cloth" exhibit on view now at the Thousand Oaks Municipal Art Gallery.
