Well, the vase I posted yesterday is in the hands of its new owner and I couldn't be happier. So, here's another one in the same family -- the shape seems lyrical to me, and when I looked up the etymology of "lyrical,"  I discovered that it relates to the shape of a lyre. Bingo!

I would show you the lyre's shape, but I couldn't find any royalty-free copyright-free images that I could get without downloading them (wary of viruses in downloads..). So picture those greeting-card-ubiquitous cherubim floating around plucking at the strings of... their lyres ! That's the shape of this piece.
