mustard to the rescue

Who knew that an underlying color in this piece was one that was sitting inside my refrigerator? The mustard colored binding is made from a Windham Gee's Bend  hand dyed solid -- purchased, natch, at my fave quilt store, Quilters' Studio.

My goal was that the binding not stand out from the piece -- that is, that it recede or blend in. This color seems to do the trick.

Your work is sooo inspiring. And that mustard color is something I can't seem to get away from in my work. I LOVE it!
