thread galore

Here's a section of the piece I have been stitching for the last two days. The sweeping lines in the architectural forms are done in clear monofilament, and I just finished one spool of a charcoal polyester thread I am using to stitch the figures.

It feels like a dance, moving the piece back and forth under the needle.  I'm having a rollicking good time.
